Bible study, socials, and serving days in one list. Tap any event to see the details and say you're in.
Prayer Requests
Share what's on your heart. Tap "Praying" so people know they're not carrying it alone.
Availability
Tap a day to mark yourself free or busy. Nobody sees what you're doing — only whether you're around.
Gallery
Photos from your gatherings. Everyone can add; you can remove your own.
Pick a caption and event first if you want them, then tap Add photos. Large photos are shrunk automatically before uploading.
Devotions & Testimonies
Share what you're reading, or what God has done. Anyone can reply.
Bible Notes
Look up a passage, mark the words that stood out, and keep a private reflection.
Public-domain text. Type a reference the way you'd say it. Open a passage, pick a mark, then tap words.
Pick a mark, then tap words. Tap a marked word again to clear it.
Your reflection
Just for you. A suggestion may use this passage and what you write here. Nobody else can see either.
Spiritual Goals
What you're working toward, and the small steps that get you there.
Your areas
The categories you file your goals under. These are yours — nobody else sees or shares them.
Members
Everyone in your group. Leaders can invite new members by name and email.
| Name | Profile | Role |
|---|
Leaders can edit or delete anything. Members can add freely but only edit or delete what they personally posted.
Settings
Your name
This is what shows on everything you post — prayer requests, devotions, events, photos.
Your profile
A page about you that the rest of the group can see — photos, a short story, and whatever prompts you feel like answering. Nothing is required.
Your calendar
Put this group's study and events on Google, Apple, or Outlook. New ones show up after your calendar refreshes — that's also how you get reminders on your phone.
Browser reminders
A notice in this browser when someone adds a prayer request, event, or devotion, and when something is today or tomorrow. Extra, not a replacement for your phone calendar. On iPhone this only works if Rooted is on your Home Screen.
Group name & symbol
What your group is called here, and the mark shown beside it. This only changes Rooted — your other dashboards keep their own names.
Bible Study Meet Up
The recurring pattern — which day, what time, how often. This fills in the study dates on the Overview and in Meetings & Events.
The link on this form is for every meet up. For a link, photos, or what you're covering on one date only, go to Meetings & Events, tap that meet up, then Edit this week. That's also where you cancel a single date if the group is taking a break.
Message from your leaders
Shown at the top of everyone's Overview. Keep it short — one or two things the group needs to know this week.
Only leaders can change the group schedule, message, and colors. You can update your own availability from the Availability page.
Dashboard colors
Pick your group's colors. Changes apply for everyone the next time they load the dashboard.
Member activity
When each person last signed in. Useful for spotting someone who's quietly drifted, so you can check in on them. Only leaders see this page.

Recent activity
Every add, edit, and delete across the group — who did what, and when.
How Rooted works
Rooted is your group's shared home base: one place for the weekly study, prayer, plans, and each other. Everyone signs in with their own name and email, so every post shows who shared it.
If you're a leader
- Set the study day, time, and place in Settings → Group. Choose weekly or every other week, and how many dates ahead to show.
- Open any study date and use Edit this week to add what you're covering, links, and a photo or two — just for that week.
- Write a short message for the group. It sits beside the study on everyone's Overview.
- Invite members from the Members page, and promote a second leader there — most groups want two.
- Check Settings → Member activity to see who hasn't signed in lately.
- Name your group and pick its symbol and colours in Settings.
If you're a member
- The Overview is the week at a glance: the next study, what your leaders shared, and what's coming up.
- Say I'm going or Can't make it for each study, so your leaders know who to expect.
- Mark when you're available — the group sees only free or busy, never why.
- Share prayer requests, with or without your name.
- Look up a passage in Bible Notes — highlight words and keep a private reflection.
- Post a devotion or a testimony, reply to others, and add photos after a gathering.
- Set your own name in Settings → You. It's what appears on everything you post.
The weekly study
Your study fills itself in — set the day and time once and every upcoming date appears on the Overview and in Meetings & Events. Tap it anywhere it's shown to open the details. Taking a week off? Open that date and Cancel this date; the rest of the schedule carries on untouched.
Meetings & Events
Everything lives in one list: the study, socials, and serving days. Use the tabs to narrow it down. Whoever posted an event is the only person who can edit it — leaders can delete anything that needs to come down, but nobody can rewrite someone else's post. Add the group to your own calendar from Meetings or Settings → You, and your phone will remind you the way it already reminds you about everything else.
Availability
Every day is split into morning, afternoon, and evening, so you can be free after work without pretending you're free all day. Tap a day, then tap a time for available, again for busy, again to clear — or use Free all day. Switch to Whole group to see how many people each slot suits. The best times appear on the Overview under "Best times to meet".
Prayer requests
Share what's on your heart, with your name or anonymously. Tap Praying so people know they're not carrying it alone. When something is answered, mark it — it moves to the Answered list rather than disappearing.
Devotions & Testimonies
A devotion is something you're reading; a testimony is something God has done. Both go in the same list, marked and colour-coded, and both open into a thread anyone can reply to.
If something crosses a line, a leader can hide it. It drops out of the group's view entirely — only the leader and the person who wrote it can still see it, along with the leader's reason. The author can edit it, but a leader is the one who brings it back, so nothing vanishes for good over one bad moment. Leaders can also delete outright.
Gallery
Photos group themselves into albums by event, so a season of socials stays browsable. Photos are shrunk in your browser before uploading — posting straight from your phone won't eat your data.
Bible Notes and Spiritual Goals
These two are yours alone. Nobody else in the group can open them, leaders included — that's enforced by the database, not just hidden from the screen. Bible Notes lets you look up a passage, mark words (color, outline, or bold), and write a private reflection. If a prayer in the group is close to a passage you've been sitting with, you'll see a private suggestion on that note — why it might help. The person who posted the prayer is never told, and they never see the note.
Goals are filed under areas you choose yourself, and each can carry a checklist of steps.
If you belong to more than one dashboard
One login can belong to several groups or organizations, each with its own role — you might lead here and simply be a member somewhere else. Use All your dashboards at the bottom of the menu to switch.
Privacy
Only people in your group can see anything here. Availability shows whether you're free, never what you're doing. Prayer requests can be posted without your name. Bible Notes and Spiritual Goals are yours alone.
